water under cabinet

We have a venture 23 (cape cruiser06) I keep finding water (1-2inches) in the starboard cabinet ? the Refridgerator is in that cabinet also .I'm trying to find the source maybe the fridge has a drain?? maybe the rubrail leaks ?? maybe the windows are left open ? Could it be condensation outside temp in the high 90s and water at 88 or so .Any suggestions please thanks Jim on Jennykatz(Duck)
 
Hi Jim,

Check your anchor locker. My Venture 23's anchor locker wasn't sealed and leaked back along the side and into the storage compartments. The factory sent me some 5200 to seal it and now no problem. The water came in the anchor locker drain hole and didn't drain out like it should. It just went back into the compartments. Good Luck!

I will try that next time i'm down at the boat I guess I should pull the anchor line and rode out first go in there with a light and try to seal the locker . Thanks for your reply I will let you know how it works .

we have been having so much rain I might try this when the locker dries out first. Now where is that 5200 i missplaced ?

Kent don't you just love these 23 s they ride so sweet I find the ride to be as good as the c-25
 
:D Yes Jim! I'm thrilled with the Venture 23's ride. It was better than I anticipated. My former boat was a Wellcraft 23' deep V which was almost impossible to cruise at 10-20 miles an hour. It would go slow just fine and it would go very fast, but hard to keep at a slow plane. We're very happy!

I pulled all of the anchor line out of the locker and stuck my head in to inspect for the cause of my leak. It was very obvious that the rear of the locker had not been sealed at the seams.

Hopefully your leak problem is as easy to fix.
