For the man with a will, there is always a way. This is local craftmanship at its best. Note the fenders, you wouldn't want to ding the "hull".

The biggest question is whether he should repower with a 9.9hp 4-stroke or whether a 6hp would work.

On Yachtworld, this will be described as: open feeling on flybridge, unique suspension helm seat, stand up height in two tone cabin, convertible table/desk on flybridge, large storage compartment in hi-vis safety color, custom hardtop, excellent visibility from helm with view through cabin, custom line holders, proven (vintage) outboard power, easy dive/swim access from deck. Owner looking to downsize - motivated seller. This one won't last long!

Wow...what do you guys think of the chances of them having added a heavy ballast at the bottom (below the waterline) to help prevent capsizing as soon as someone goes up top?!?

Wonder what it would take to plane that rig?

It was rumored that the owner recently hit it big on scratch tickets and upgraded!

Looks like a transport barge. CA flag. Would be a good use for a living arrangement though. Landing the chopper would have to be right on.

Thats Funny..i don't see any registration numbers on that boat either. Tug

Should be doable - just need to add some trim tabs...

It's probably documented... No reg numbers needed.

Well, if my photo is a redneck yacht, this Canadian contraption is a redneck mega yacht.

You might be a redneck if your yacht involves a modified travel travel trailer!

Why does Byrdman come to mind when I see this????

Didn't he buy something like this?

M and I encountered a similiar "home made" boat just inside of Hat (Gedney) Island last summer. It appeared to be a Hoby cat hull with a 2X4/plywood "house" on it, pushed by a small outboard. Looked illegal as hell and about as sea-worthy as a brick w/ plexi glass "windows". It looked like something one would find in a third world slum. But there it was...we commented on how the guy driving it must not give a damn.

When first had my 22, we had moorage for a brief period of time in Lake Union. That first summer I was there, there was someone who had constructed a floating platform with a nice table on it and chairs for 4 people. They had a little trolling motor (I can't remember if it was electric or a 2hp Honda). On a few very calm evenings, I saw them on Lake Union with a fully set table - table cloth, dishes, wine glasses etc and 2 couples very nicely dressed just out for a "dinner cruise". I have no idea who these people were or whether they still do that but the image of the "bass boat" posted by Phil reminded me of that interesting craft.

Is that a hot tub and bar on the upper deck?? It couldn't possibly get any better than this!!

Thanks for the great laughs everybody...

I especially liked the "yacht world description"...Too funny!
