One thing to keep in mind...if a person has read this whole thread to this point, is that we're just talking freakin boat stuff on the freakin internet...it's not like we're planing on invading Canada or something, although they do have WMD's (that would be Wool Mittens and Drawers)....
Chill out, they way things are going, the SBS is going to turn into a bar brawl and then Sensei Roger will catch hell from Linda the travel lady for the trashed rooms, then Roger will get POd and we'll get no more potatoes.

I have been sitting in the background watching this debate and thinking to myself how much this emulates my children growing up and how they would squable at times.....lol...., and having one good laugh.
As the PARENT I had to step in on occasion and settle things and make peace. I have tried to stay out of this but my name has been brought up here and so all I want to know is this, DO I NEED TO GET THE PADDLE OUT ...LOL... altho I suspect some of you would enjoy that

to get back to what this thread originaly was about. I am realy anxious to get to the Boat show and personly ,with my own eyes, see what all the hub bub is about.
Realize that I am totaly happy with my C-Dory and I would realy like to upgrade to the 25, BUT,I am not liking the fact that the 25 has the raised cockpit. The high freeboard in the 22 and the fact that all I gotta do is lean over the gunnel and touch the water ,catch crab pot bouys and whatnot apeals to me.
If the CC 23 has this ability and actualy gives some extra room, I am all for it.
I am not saying One is better than the Other, just may fit better.

Been missing you, big neighbor. If I stand on my rocker I can see your property from here!
You young kids can dream about the CC - it's a good boat without any doubt. We older folks have to think about things like financing, insurance, resale value, dealer network, warranty support if factory doors close, etc. I'll never knock the boat - ain't never run one, and sure like some of the things they have done. But until some cat makes one that's cheaper, lighter, narrower, and shorter, with the same accommodations -- and will plane in less water than my 22 -- I'm a happy camper. Of course it's gotta have a sales track record so my gouging finance company can look it up in the book.
Please don't tell RF my '87 22 cruiser has a 100 Yamaha on it. I'll never live it down. :wink: Of course having a Honda kicker takes some of the worry away :lol: :lol:

Oh My Gawd!! Its true then!! Mister Bush has initiated operation"Winter Storm". I though it was just an episode out of the X-Files, but the truth came out on the C-Brat site. Good thing too! This will give us time to hide or destroy our WMD's "(that would be Wool Mittens and Drawers "quote BC).... ". Dusty are you going to come out of retirement to lead the invasion??? Yes, yes, its true. But heck, it is not a big secret - don't you guys watch South Park up there, the whole plan has been available on Comedy Central for at least a couple of years...I'm sure the Canadian CIA is all over it!

Was I the only one to get the memo? The point of invading Canada is not wool mittens. It’s to annex their government and lower the tax rate so I can afford to live there with out giving all my money to the socialists Government. Not to mention the lowering the cost of gas.

WOW... I have been a bit busy of late working issues of getting folks back in their homes on the Gulf Coast and was truly wondering what I had been missing on my favorite web site... Not much.
Roger, Glad you got out the paddle...that old belt of Dad's made marks most of the way around your legs, arms and other body parts as we flopped around on the floor while he was "improving moral of the family."
Dusty: Man, sorry you can not get back up on the rocker arms... Still one of the highlights of the Blakely Gathering was getting to meet you at the docks accross from EQ.
Others: Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the SBS this year, and will do my part as to not get Roger in trouble with the local housing folks. It is all about fun and our boats.
And yes, a Tomcat IS A C-DORY too. Just today I can not afford the one that looks like a C-Dory...but I am still plotting.
