    Dinette floor

Hi Dustin, The product has a thinner profile than regular "Click" flooring. It is rubber backed and the lip where the boards join is rubber-like too. I don't have a Home Depot close by, but will be at one later this month. Once I get the name of the product I will post it here. Cheers

    Dinette floor

The wood floor looks really nice! However, I don't own the tools to make something that nice. I was thinking of the "click" together flooring. I saw some on the floor of a kitchen that was textured and looked good. I was told it holds up great to moisture (hence being in the kitchen). Home Depot...

    Dinette floor

Hi Everyone, I am looking for ideas for the flooring under the dinette that won't cost a fortune. I have read about Plasteak and a few others but up here in Canada they are not cheap. Does someone make a inexpensive vinyl that looks like wood? Cheers!

    New home for "Reel Knotty"!

Well, I rebuilt the dinette table out of maple with mahogany. It was a project I did with my 85 yr old Dad and it turned out pretty nice! Replaced the interior and anchor lights with LED's. I have interlocking tiles for the cockpit (not in yet), LED strip lights for under the gunwales. I now...

    New home for "Reel Knotty"!

The tables look great! I was thinking of doing something similar. I will take the old one out an us it as a template and use a solid wood with a few coats of lacquer. The tiles must make it fairly heavy?

    New home for "Reel Knotty"!

As much as I would like to get out, I am going to winterize the motors and tinker with it over the winter. First up will be putting in some LED bulbs, reroute some wiring and add a spreader light aft. I am also thinking of putting in some Nuteak on the cabin floor. Has anyone purchased or...

    New home for "Reel Knotty"!

I have been looking at C-Dorys and this site for quite awhile. Well, we purchased the boat from Port Boat House and got her home last week. Unfortunately, the weather has turned nasty, but I can still look at her and dream about the trips to come! I can also spend the winter tinkering about and...

    Quake west off Vancouver Island

We felt it! The house was shaking, our door chimes were ringing and the hanging, vertical blinds were swinging pretty good. Very strange sensation as everything is moving...including the house.

    lots of interest in boat

I'm envious. The sunny days along with the flowers and birds makes me wish I had a boat NOW! However, I will have to wait awhile longer. I guess I can go to the Victoria Floating Boat Show and torture myself some more.javascript:emoticon(':D')

    Just Bought my First Motorcycle!

Congrats on the new ride! I sold my bike last fall. I had a Honda VFR800. Great bike, more bike than I needed but I loved riding that thing. I miss it but am planning of getting C-Dory this summer. Will probably get another bike too! ATGATT (All The Gear All The Time) was something I learned...

    New Guy!

Well they had a new 22' (the only C-Dory) at the boat show. They also had the Rangers and the new Cutwaters there too. I was hoping there would be more models from C-Dory to checkout. However, the 22' looks nice and I think it will be the one I end up getting. There was also a display...

    New Guy!

Hi George, I met Dave at the Victoria Boat Show a few years ago and have seen him each year since. He seems like a good guy. Nice to hear your experiences with him and Port Boat House were good. I do not know anyone who has had any dealings with them. Hi Bob, I realize that the solar power...

    New Guy!

I do want to get a previously owned one. I like to tinker and do modifications. Drilling and cutting into a new one would probably make me lose what little hair I have left! I really like the idea of adding solar panels and from looking at this site my little brain is reeling with possibilities...

    New Guy!

Hi Charlie, I did a search and yes the name has been used a number of times. I didn't realize it came from Greek mythology. Cheers!
