01/26 - 01/28 Seattle Boat Show 2018

Great Mark, I understand. And 4 x 10, better than the 5 x 8 in my book. My favorite was 7 x 10's and basically every other week. Only thing better was a stint of 2wks on and 2 off, for a bit when my partner was off due to an MVA injury.

Hope to see you at SBS if you can make it.

Yes....if it is at the first hotel place. Sorry,...but I did not read the entire link...and have been away from home for 4-5 weeks.. and there were no pictures that held my attention....and many other fires I need to put out after being gone so long.....but wanted to let the Johnson's know I would meet them where it all started if they wanted to.
Scrubbing a VA appointment schedule issue...before I buy flight tickets.

Wow! Am I a lucky C-Brat or what? Yesterday I asked my wife if there was someplace special she would like to go for our 43rd anniversary. Her response was ”When is the Seattle Boat Show? “ It didn’t take me long to heat up the credit cards and voila… the rest is history. See you at the CBGT potluck!

How can we help with the potluck? Are we bringing food, sharing costs, etc?

Big Thanks to Peter of C dancer.

The pot luck is still on. Peter has arranged for a conference room at his work the Inn at the Market , at pikes market Seattle. and for a great price. I found two places for the event but it would have taken all of the C-brats kitty money. So thanks to Peter and his gracious employer to lend us the room for a very small fee. we have had the pot luck there once before and the room is great with table chairs and outlets for crockpots ect.

date is Saturday, January 27th 2018. 5pm to 10pm. The place is at , Inn at the Market. 86 Pine St, Seattle, WA 98101, phone (206) 443-3600

we have no official hotel . but you can make reservations where you like including the Inn at the Market

Tom and i will be staying at the silver cloud on lake union, with free parking for 169 a night.

there are VRBO near lake union for approx 100 per night with a one time 100 $managers fee. and are walking distance to the lake union boat afloat.

Looking forward to see you all

susan

Above is for clarification for Byrdman.
"Yes....if it is at the first hotel place. Sorry,...but I did not read the entire link..."

Patrick, sure hope you wind up at the right potluck. And safe travels.

I may have missed this so I will ask anyway.
so if we want to come for the potluck, where are we sposed to park?
Hey Roger,

Unfortunately you'll have to find street parking parking or lots near the hotel. There is not parking available at the hotel for this event.

Peter

It looks like Cathy and I will be Staying at the Larkspur in Renton and will be hanging out with Sensei and Byrdman.
Hope to see everyone at the potluck.

I just called Larkspur to see availability and regular rates. They gave me (about) $100 night with a AAA discount. Lots of availability. The gal didn't know anything about C-BRATS, said she had only been there for year. Still a long way from the SBS though. A bus or van maybe?

Patrick, Lisbeth & I will be staying at the Hawthorn Suites in the Tukwila area. It is the motel that we as a group had 2 or 3 gatherings when I was the one in charge. this is where I met Byrdman for the very first time, so we decided to go back where it all began for us.
we will be there Friday night and stay till Sunday checkout

Only a few of you are probably aware that Tristan (age 5) and I host a radio show on Sunday evenings. NEXT WEEK, we'll put together a show with segments we record at the Seattle Boat Show, if all goes well.

So this week, the theme is BOATS, with lots of songs about boats. The show airs 7-8 pm PST on Sunday evenings. Stream it with TuneIn or Alexa: "KBFG" should find it. Or stream directly from our website at KBFGSeattle.org. If you live in north Seattle, you might be able to tune it in at 107.3 FM, but the station is low-power, so you need to be pretty much in Ballard-Phinney-Fremont to get it.
