Well, I am sitting in Port Townsend waiting for the "calm seas" to come back. Left on Monday, and cruised to Blake Island. (just had to take advantage of the good weather :hot ) Spent an enjoyable night and a fantastic morning at one of my favorite off season spots on the Sound. Moved on to Port Townsend Tuesday. It was a fantastic day to be on the water. Anchored for a bit off of the south end of the Port Townsend Canal. Very calm and warm. Fog on Wed morning kept me at the dock until 4 pm. Looked good, so I headed east. I could see Protection Island just fine, but in a matter of 15 minutes the fog rolled west bound and had me running back to Point Hudson. Hum, fog at Sequim, imagine that! The winds kicked up last night and are blowing about 20-25 right now. Forecast is for the winds to die down tomorrow am. Maybe another night in P.T. Found the library and the free computer, a few good pubs, a nice fly shop and a great bakery. Not too bad. Should get to Sequim by Sunday  Looking forward to seeing folks.
PS, Jon and Mac, I found out some good information on coho fishing inside the spit. I just had to tell the guy I wouldn't share it with anyone!!! Robbi
