Hey Dwight (Chromer) and Kevin (Catch 22),
It was great seeing the both of you this weekend chasing some killer coho. I just got back, it was a very long day. It was nice getting to know you Kevin, you are a very talented craftsman. I can't wait to see the finished product. Thanks to you both for sharing your tips on how to catch a coho. I finally got the skunk off my boat but had to go up to Edmonds to get it. It was a very feisty 7 lb hen with eggs. It was your tip Kevin that worked this time. :teeth The both of you are so kind not to brag about your catches. You both did way better than me but at least I caught one.
For the rest of you, I just had to join in the fun trying to catch a great run of coho salmon. I must be crazy, or desperate. I drove 100 miles north Friday afternoon to pick up our boat from Twin Bridges then trailered down to Seattle (where I live) and stayed at Shilshole Bay Marina for two nights, pricey but very convenient. The fishing was right out front. Then I drove back up north to drop the boat off then came back down to Seattle. That was a lot of driving! Just to catch one fish. Oh well, I would have felt worse if I didn't catch anything. Just the one makes things a little nicer. :wink
I'll try post the pics of your boats in action later this week.
