Guns on Boats

Kill it. Delete it. Lock it. Fine with me. I've spoken my mind, as is my right. But I have done it respectfully and without personal attacks or insults.

Have a good weekend everyone. We are going boating for a few days...

Oh and I just noticed a typo: the correct name for the Charleton in Maryland is Marilyn MOSBY.

My two cents. Conversation is good. We can all learn from discussion with others. But sometimes folks forget to be respectful in that process. I had no idea what LocalBoy's profession was. (Rarely know what anyone's profession here is.) But one's profession does not mean they are void of some political misgivings or opinions. Some issues are much more sensitive than others. This thread dwells on one. While I don't necessarily agree with all that's been said, it has been interesting to see the experiences and thoughts of others. Colby

When we start traveling in camper, will have a pump shotgun along . As far as boats ,guess if we were traveling long trips, many anchorages, may also have one aboard. Better to have one and not use it.Then need it and only say wish I brought it. Years of watching Americas Most Wanted ,and Unsolved mysteries, along with news local ,and world news, you realize things can happen anywhere. Remember a show about husband and wife murdered for their camper, also another time where only the husband lived after they were robbed in a rest area and shot. Yeah most likely trips are trouble free ,you camp or boat where you feel safe, but better to not have to beg a maniac for mercy. Takes a while for Law to get there.
