Just got off the phone with DSG in an attempt to get a few answers.
If you want to check to see if the window will be an exact fit for your cabin door, measure the outside dimensions of your window. If it measures 18 3/8" x 25 3/8", then it should be a perfect fit. If your dimensions are smaller, then you might have to break out Mr. Saw and enlarge the opening in the door to 17" x 25". (Are you up to the challenge?)
If your window is larger than 18 3/8" x 25 3/8", then you might have to remove the window and measure the opening ... do you feel lucky? In this case, bigger ain't better.
If it is a direct replacement, then installation would be as previously described: remove trim from inside, carefully remove window - removing sealant. Reseal, reinstall, replace trim, sit back and enjoy your new window and screen, and thank your lucky stars you are aboard a C-Dory.
In addition, if you have an older C-Dory with aluminum trim (not powder coated) and you want plain aluminum, it can be done and no extra charge. In fact, DSG said your window would be a little less expensive because they do not have to prep and powder coat your trim. Ain't that sweet! Isthmus be your lucky day.
I am having way too much fun :wink ... but we need two more of you to make this a go.
